What if Michelle had not settled for Barack?
I do not know Michelle Obama, but I do have a pretty good bet that she wasn’t banking on the fact that she would still be…. campaigning. Or better yet, being a survival cheerleader for political campaigns that are not planned well, so the energy expent is essentially erasing all the time and energy she could have put into something else because she chose this.
She choose Barock, so now everytime America is in trouble, she has to resort back to this original, outdated agreement because she is such a morally responsible person she would think it wrong to do otherwise. Look who is in charge again, honey. It’s time to forget prioritizing polite precedent, planning logically, and putting yourself last.
No one, especially not your husband, gives a shit that you sacrificed oh so very much just for them to become something of themselves, and if they say they do, tell them to show it.
Do not get this twisted; there is no Barack without Michelle, but Michelle is a self-reliant ecosystem, period.
She voluntarily reduced her speed and took on weight to marry this man and she is still campaigning! This woman hates campaigning, yet when us, we, as a society get scared, we like seeing her face. We are selfish and this is her life…
