What comes first? The chicken or the egg? After reading your article, I found myself pondering what comes first? Success or waking up early?

I think waking up comes first because you need that sense of discipline and urgency to attain success.

I also really appreciated how you touched on the fact that the act of waking up early is not the solution to all of your battles because the discipline of a strong routine is still required.

I try to wake up at 4:30 a.m. at least three times a week; this week, I managed to wake up at said time every weekday. I do sometimes fall asleep at an early time, but I know that I am not accomplishing anything of significance after a certain time.

I think the true secret behind waking up early is that distractions are minimal, during the wee hours of the morning. The fewer distractions you have to deal with, the more you get done.

Really appreciated your words and I am glad we are both in the early wake up crew.
