Really thoughtful submission. When I first started writing online, I thought that my words alone would carry me through, but everyone is not as interested in me as much as I am.

I have started to experiment with word count, page layout and being strategic with my title.

I think I originally was scared of reading articles about how to make my work more popular because I thought I was selling out. It is not a sell out to make your work more appealing and manageable because your goal is for people to read your writing.

The one area I struggle with is removing my personal stories. I always think they add so much value to my topic, but sometimes letting something stand alone is so much more powerful.

I love this site and how much I am learning from other people’s experiences.
