One thing that I have noticed, for full-time writers and those of us with a side hustle, that the issues are very parallel. Finding the time is always hard. Life is always pulling us in so many directions that it can seem impossible to sit down and focus for hours on end, but that is what it takes to gain the momentum needed for progress.

I work, go to school part-time, run a tutoring company and freelance and I love all of the roles I have. It is all possible, as long as you are very organized and do not succumb to procrastination regularly.

I appreciate how you go to a coffee shop to get your work done because I do the same. I am also very honest with myself; I know that if I do not get my writing done before work or right after work, it is not getting done in the evening. I just do not have the momentum after dinner to get the words down, so I am very respectful of my writing time.

I appreciate honest words, like yours, it makes us all feel a little less alone in the writing journey.
