I think that high achievers get a bad rap, but it is because it makes others feel inadequate. I work really hard, each and every day, but I work just as hard trying to motivate individuals I love to achieve their goals.

I believe that all people have at least one great idea in their lifetime and the difference between people who achieve a goal from that idea and don’t is in the follow through.

The follow through in life is hard. It is difficult to work on something everyday, exerting your time, money and energy, with no guarantee of success, but I really think that is the greatness of working for a higher purpose.

I have also noticed that success appears linear, but it is not. As you follow one path, to an assumed destination, you will meet and receive so many other opportunities along the way.

Keep striving and keep connecting with like-minded people. Don’t fear missing out on the Saturday night fun, you can honestly get your work done and still join your friends hours later and they will still be there, doing the same old thing.

I write about issues that are near and dear to my heart, with the hope that my stories, experiences, and struggles may empower others: amanlitt.ca
