I love your use of the term boring in this article. I always say that when aspects of your life do not have dramatic updates for others, things are going well.

If you are meeting with a friend, after a long period of time, and do not have any, ‘Oh my god, you will not believe what happened to me…’ stories, you are winning in life.

It means you are managing your life and managing it well. It means that you are finding comfort and peace with your daily life and that is actually the goal. Life is not always suppose to be this roller coaster ride, with huge highs and massive dips.

I love when my life is boring because that means that my mental health is strong, my relationships are thriving, my work is my fuel and my home is my sanctuary; give me boring each and every day, please and thank you.

I write about issues that are near and dear to my heart, with the hope that my stories, experiences, and struggles may empower others: amanlitt.ca
