Thanks for your response. Yes, this article has gotten some negative responses from men and it makes me think, what makes them so defensive by one article about a broad subject? I think their anger and rude comments say a lot about heterosexual relationships. I think it also makes me feel bad for these men, like gosh, could you imagine someone incapable of having a debate or disagreement? Damn, and the fact that they cannot see that most heterosexual relationship are strongly skewed and women do so much more.

I am just tired of women jokingly complaining about it. I think we need to start talking about this subject seriously.

You’re totally right too, other than providing an income, men are not expected to do much else. However, the world is changing and now that women are the breadwinners and still managing the household, what is it going to take to tip the scales in our favour for once?
