I wrote this story, like it is my personal story, but it is actually modified from a situation a friend told me about.

I completely agree with a lot of the things you mention, but I wonder if this situation is based on what women deem important versus what men deem important in a relationship.

I am just trying to play devil’s advocate and I wonder if it is not as insidious and you and I have played it out to be.

I really like your insight and I think I might delve a little deeper into this topic and try and get some research on the matter.
