Stagnation leads to decline, decay, and disarrangement of character in life.
Change leads to elevation, enhancement, and — if you stick with it — excellence of character.

To stay the same, to follow the road most travelled, andto keep within the rigid confines of what’s expected, is to settle for an existence built on constant external validation instead of inner conviction.

Here’s the trap: do what you’re “supposed” to, chase what looks like the best, and never stop to define what ‘the best’ means to you — and suddenly, you’re living out a midlife crisis as your permanent baseline.

Salary negotiating taught me alot about the safer side of society life and the (false) fears that exist over there. I have helped a lot of people negotiate their salary during a job offer negotiation.

The first rule I tell everyone is that you never take the first offer; you always counter.

The counter figure varies a lot, but the foundational rule is still consistent: never accept the first offer. This piece of advice, nine times out of ten, is met with a long pause, where I now say, “Do you feel like you’re admitting to being poor by not accepting…
