A Narcassist’s Need to be Needed
Narcissists need to have information on you in order to inflict pain.
The more you take away their source, the shakier their sense of sanity starts to become. They will start searching and searching for ways to get at you, rather than being a normal human being and giving you the much-needed space you are trying to carve out.
Anyone who breaches a boundary you have built needs to be blocked.
Block them in all senses of the term, but also block them out mentally. That last piece of advice is the most crucial. Why do you ask? A narcissist thinks in a condescension conceptual framework; they literally think they know better than you, in your life and decision-making, too.
Narcissists are masterful at getting the pack to back them.
Another telltale sign of a control-freak is that they will need, I repeat need, an entourage. They will tell you that ‘everyone’ feels the way they feel or agrees with them. They will make you feel isolated, and that will breed insecurities in yourself will which make you want to inform them why they are misinformed.
